| Speaker | Kate Sykes is Founder and Director of Career Mums a specialist company dealing with issues related to women in the workforce and workplace flexibility. Kate is a team leader on the Business Environment Task Force of the CBC. |

| Description | One of the new National Employment Standards is the right for employees to ask for flexible working arrangements in certain conditions. Also, all of the new Modern Awards now contain a ‘flexibility’ provision allowing an employer to make an agreement with an individual employee varying the provisions of the award for that employee.
The objective of this workshop is to assist organisations to meet and manage these requests and also maximise the benefits of the new flexibility provisions for the organisation.
